In this one day seminar, you will prepare for and take the EPA/CFC Certification (Section 608) exam. There are no prerequisites and the course is open to anyone wishing to purchase refrigerants or be EPA certified. Tuition includes all preparatory materials and the test fee. This Virginia state sanctioned course introduces you to the world of pharmacies whether retail, hospital or institutional facility. Course content includes history of pharmacology, terminology and mathematics specific to the pharmacy, reading and interpreting prescriptions, and defining drugs by generic and brand names. After taking PT 1 and 2, students will be prepared to take the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam.
