English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Teacher Assistant
Monday and Wednesday Evenings
6:00 - 9:00 PM
The teacher's assistant works under the guidance of the classroom instructor. The TA tutors individuals or small groups of students. Other responsibilities include:

  • Welcome new students to the Program
  • Ensure that new student files are complete and accurate
  • Assist teachers and administrators with attendance
  • Assist to ensure maximum learning for students in the media and computer labs
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher, coordinating teacher or building administrators

Adult Basic Education Substitute Teacher Assistant

  • Proctor selective testing
  • Enter data and ensure accuracy for computerized registration and other designated record keeping.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher, coordinating teacher or building administrators.
