English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

ESOL Classes are available for adult non-native speakers of English. Five levels of classes in reading, writing, speaking, and listening are held daily Monday through Friday or twice a week in the evening. New students must come to one of the interview times; students will enter the program based on class availability. If classes are full, students will be placed on a waiting list and contacted when openings occur.

(A valid, current, government issued picture ID and proof of residency are required at the interview)

GED®/Adult Basic Education

Register for PRE-GED®/ABE and Fast Track GED® classes by attending a placement evaluation to take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE). TABE scores determine which class you are placed in. Placement evaluation cost is $5 and takes 3 1/2 hours. First come, first served. (Maximum of 55 participants per test) A valid, current, government issued picture ID for proof of age and identity is required.

(Open to adults age 18 and older who are not enrolled in any high school. Testing begins on time. No exceptions.)
