In this class students from Basic Sewing or those with prior sewing experience will continue to advance their sewing skills. During the first class, you will choose a sewing project; supplies will be discussed at this time. Join us for casual evenings of knitting with reviews of stitches, old and new, questions and answers, unfinished project show and tell, or be a brave "newbie". We will start at the beginning and will take you through casting on and binding off, knit and purl stitches, different yarns for different needles, and how to read a pattern. Bring one skein of medium weight yarn and one pair of straight needles (long or short, plastic or wood) - size 6. For the more experienced knitter, come work on projects and share your knowledge with others.
